Ghana Wants More Gas from Nigeria to Generate Electricity
According to the Nigeria Oct. 2nd The Fustigation, Nigeria's energy minister said in Lagos that he hoped to get more gas from Nigeria to generate electricity. He revealed that the current output of oil and gas in Ghana is 190,000 barrels per day and 120 million cubic meters per day.
Ghana used to rely on hydroelectricity at 100 per cent, and it now has hydroelectricity and gas power generation in half. Natural gas is mainly produced locally, and a small portion is from other countries in West Africa.
